Welcome to Our Community

Hello there, and welcome to our home. Whether it's your past home, present haven, or future dwelling, we are thrilled to have you with us. Our community is deeply passionate about supporting our small rural school district, which is the beating heart of our area.

About Our School District

Our district is unique in its composition, boasting two school campuses that cater to the educational needs of our children. One of these is a charming one-room classroom that serves students from Kindergarten through the fourth grade. This quaint setup is a nod to the past, yet it still thrives, providing a nurturing environment for young learners.

The main campus, located in Leadore, serves a broader range, accommodating grades Pre-K through 12th. With almost 100 hard-working students, our schools are a testament to the dedication and resilience of our community.

The Legacy of One-Room Schools

Did you know there are currently fewer than 400 one-room schools still in operation across the United States? This marks a significant decline from the 190,000 that existed in 1919. These enduring schools, mostly found in very rural areas, serve as vital educational and community centers. They are a living legacy of our educational history, and we are proud to be among those preserving it.

Our Mission: Building a Brighter Future

In 2024, Idaho was ranked 29th in overall education. We believe we can help change that by investing in our schools and supporting our dedicated teachers. Our goal for this foundation is to establish a fund that will grow and continue to support our unique school district. By doing so, we aim to enhance educational opportunities and ensure that our schools remain vibrant and effective centers of learning and community life.

Join us in this mission to support our rural school district and help us build a brighter future for our children and community. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and the fabric of our community.
